Dates:
September 5 and October 3
Time:
10am–11am
Show up exactly as you are. Join us the first Saturday of every month for an hour dedicated to breath, movement, and a little bit of fun.
Rooted in Hatha yoga, this class invites you to explore your own personal range of motion in a safe, supportive space. Expect a gentle blend of movement and breathwork drawn from Hatha and Yin traditions, with touches of tai chi and the natural rhythms of the world around us.
We’ll close with time for meditation and stillness — a chance to simply be.
All levels welcome. No experience necessary — just an open mind and a willingness to move at your own pace.
About Amanda
Amanda earned her RYT 200 certification through the Kriya Yoga Temple in Chicago, IL. With a passion for movement arts and guided by the personal mantra “release and thrive,” she has spent many years exploring the body’s capacity for balance, strength, and grace.
Drawing from her background as a yogi, Pilates practitioner and instructor, martial artist, and surfer, she is passionate about discovering ways to move with greater freedom, understanding, compassion, and joy.
Her approach is informed and inspired by her mentors Debra LaMantia, Mestre Marisa Cordeiro, Suddha Weixler, Paulie Zink, Sifu Stirling Levine, Agniezska Miskiewicz, and Gerald Nevin—each of whom has shaped her love and philosophy for the art of movement.
